Initial fitment appointment, Stowood Black Flash device for two consecutive nights, respiratory consultant review, full written diagnostic report, and results consultation with treatment plan.
CPAP Trial
£300
Two-month supervised trial of CPAP therapy. Includes Philips DreamStation 2 device loan, mask fitting, initial setup, and follow-up appointment. The £300 trial fee is credited in full against the machine purchase price should you go on to buy.
CPAP Purchase
£550
Philips DreamStation 2 CPAP Advanced with integrated humidifier, heated tubing, and DreamMapper app setup. Mask style agreed at fitting. Payable on completion of trial. This price reflects the £300 trial credit already applied — combined total CPAP spend across both stages is £850.

Diagnosis + CPAP

Sleep study, two-month trial, and machine purchase
The complete pathway for patients who go on to CPAP therapy. The trial (£300) and purchase (£550) are billed separately across the two months, bringing the combined CPAP cost to £850.
Private Health Insurance
Will my insurer contribute?
Many private health insurance policies include cover for sleep diagnostic services. The extent of cover depends on your policy, your insurer, and whether you have a GP referral.
We recommend contacting your insurer before booking to confirm coverage. We can provide an itemised invoice and our consultant's diagnostic report in a format suitable for insurance claims.
We do not bill insurers directly at this time. Fees are payable at the time of service, and you may then submit a claim to your insurer for reimbursement.
A diagnosis has long-term value.
Untreated moderate to severe OSA is associated with significantly elevated risk of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, stroke, and road traffic accidents. Diagnosis and treatment reduces that risk. The cost of not knowing can be considerably higher.
Instalment options. We understand that the full pathway cost represents a meaningful expenditure. If you would like to spread the cost, please discuss this with us at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointment policy
Cancelling or rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient. There is no charge for cancellations with adequate notice.
Late cancellation
If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible. We appreciate that circumstances change — please just contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Sleep study equipment
If you have already collected the Stowood recording device and need to cancel your study, please contact us to arrange a convenient time to return the equipment.
